We had the privilege of being guests to a friends annual picnic today. The main course was a whole lamb which was grilled over an open fire – I’m told that this style of cooking is common in Argentina where it is referred to as “Asado.” It was grilled and seasoned with salt, rosemary and olive oil.
Our friend Shawn made the brace himself; the lamb cooked in about 5 hours. It was a little tricky as the middle part cooked very quickly but it reached a phenomenal final state and was the center of conversation through most of the day. A giant thanks to our friends for the invite – we’ll let the pictures do the rest of the talking!
